Ford Offering FREE Driving Skills for Teens in Houston

 If you live in the Houston, Texas area and have a teen driving, there is an upcoming event from Ford that you’ll want to sign up for! The Reed Factor knows safety is always high priority, especially when it is time for our teens to get behind the wheel. To help newer drivers get prepared, Ford Motor Company is offering a great training opportunity for our teens in Houston area, and it is FREE!

The Ford Driving Skills for Life training is kicking off 2019 at NRG Stadium in Houston on February 2-3, 2019. Ford Driving Skills for Life is an award-winning hands-on program for teens and new drivers that allows participants to drive Ford vehicles in a closed area through different scenarios and workshops that teach drivers the skills they need to be safe on the road.  

Teens will be trained on the following:

  • Hazard Recognition
  • Vehicle Handling
  • Space Management
  • Reaction Time
  • Braking and Stopping Distance
  • Avoiding the Dangers of Distracted
  • Impaired Driving
  • And More

Please note that space is limited to 100 spaces per session and that 4 sessions will be offered over the course of the weekend:

  • Sun. Feb 3, 7:30am-12pm
  • Sun. Feb 3, 1pm-5:30pm
